Some of the most important things we've ever felt were never said aloud. This project exists to change that.
Sundays Are for Love Letters is a storytelling project exploring the enduring impact of love through handwritten letters. Rooted in human reflection, it invites individuals to share moments of love — small gestures and transformative acts alike — that have quietly shaped their lives. Each letter is handwritten on specially crafted paper and sent through the USPS or hand-delivered by Deshana herself.
The project lives at the intersection of writing, photography, and intimate conversation. Through community write-ins, one-on-one interviews, and multimedia storytelling, Sundays Are for Love Letters preserves what a text message cannot: the weight of a word chosen carefully, the permanence of ink on paper, the proof that someone took the time.
Stories are shared through a dedicated Substack and podcast, reaching readers and listeners who are rediscovering what it means to be moved by someone else's truth.
